Many woodlands and other wild places with nesting sites for birds have been damaged or destroyed. Your gift helps us to monitor and maintain the nest boxes on our nature reserves, increasing the number of potential nesting sites and improving the chances of birds breeding successfully. Nest boxes help keep the eggs warm whilst giving the parents security from predators and shelter from the elements. The boxes also give us the opportunity to monitor the lifestyles of the birds using them and gives us valuable information on how best to manage our nature reserves so that even more birds can breed, nest and rear their young.

Your gift will be used to help the many birds which live and breed on our nature reserves.
